'We are not Nazis': Man who left Ukraine speaks out from Poland

Putin called for the "demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine while announcing the invasion.

Mykola Volkivskyi - a Political Expert, former advisor to a top official of the Ukrainian Parliament, and the President of The First International Ukrainian Foundation of Development, has spoken exclusively to 6 News amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.


Volkivskyi left Ukraine earlier this week - before Russia announced it was invading - and is currently in the Polish capital of Warsaw.


He told us that he is feeling "relaxed" now that he is with family in Poland.


"Putin cannot destroy the spirit of Ukrainians."

Addressing comments from the Russian President, where he spoke about the "demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine, Volkivskyi declared that "we are not Nazis."


"We are united...we are together...thank you Australia."
