It comes as the trial of Epstein's former associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, gets underway.
An image showing US Vice-President Kamala Harris with Jeffrey Epstein has been spreading online - but is it real?
Epstein - the multimillionaire who was accused of sex trafficking of dozens of minors in both New York & Florida - died in 2019 in New York's Metropolitan Correctional Centre.
His death was ruled a suicide.
Epstein's connections to many famous people, including former US Presidents Donald Trump & Bill Clinton, are very real - and well-documented in now-viral images.
But what about this image with VP Harris?
That's a fake.
The actual image was taken in September 2015, showing Harris with her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
Getty Images captions the photo as "Douglas Emhoff and Kamala Harris (attand) The Broad Museum Black Tie Inaugural Dinner at The Broad on September 17, 2015 in Los Angeles, California."
6 News can not independently confirm the creator of the fake image, but it has spread on multiple platforms.
It comes as Ghislaine Maxwell - Epstein's former associate - goes on trial for sex abuse charges.
Prosecutors allege she preyed on and groomed young girls for Epstein to abuse, and the pair were "partners in crime."
Maxwell denies the charges and her defence claims she is being used as a "scapegoat" for Epstein's crimes, according to the BBC.
