Police are now investigating after multiple war memorials in Canberra were vandalised with pro-Palestine graffiti.
Slogans were spray-painted on several memorials on Anzac Parade, which included the phrase “Free Gaza” and “From the river to the sea” and messaging appearing to call out Anthony Albanese, Peter Dutton and Penny Wong.
Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles says the vandalism is “horrible” and “completely unacceptable” and said he condemned it in the strongest possible terms.
